TEAM KBC is dusting off the joggers, doing their stretches and getting walking to raise much needed funds for the Albury Wodonga Cancer Centre.
Why… This is a great event where every dollar raised stays local and is invested into purchasing more equipment and supplies for our much needed AWCC.

But that’s not the only reason we are getting involved for our community.
Back in March the team at KBC Plumbing were shocked to hear that our valued apprentice Ben, 19, had been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Through this challenging time, not only for Ben, but is entire family, the AWCC provided Ben with the best treatment, care and support. Which they are profoundly grateful for.
If not for the AWCC, not only Ben, but every patient receiving treatment would have to travel to Melbourne, and in this current climate, that would also mean self-isolating for 2 weeks when they return, just in time to start feeling better then return to Melbourne and receive more treatment then do it all over again.
We, along with Ben’s family are absolutely thrilled that Ben has finished treatment and will be back to work in the extremely near future.
So now we feel it is our time to show our thanks and appreciation to all involved at this centre.
Team KBC are that committed to raising funds for the Sunshine Walk, that if we reach our goal not only will Kade shave his head, but so will the Team at KBC.
We aim to raise $15,000, with 7 head shaves booked for Friday 20th November.
